Car Rental in Mendoza with Airport and City Pickup

You only need:

• To be 18 or older.

• A valid driver’s license and an ID or passport.

• A credit card in your name (VISA, Mastercard, Naranja or another; foreign cards are accepted), for the security deposit.

When you pick up the car, we place a hold on your credit card as a security deposit; it is not a charge. The hold is ARS 600,000, or ARS 800,000 for the Chevrolet Spin and VW Amarok.

It is released 48 hours after you return the vehicle. If you add the insurance upgrade, the amount is lower.

Don’t worry, you can keep 100% of the amount paid as credit, which can be used for a future reservation.

A rental day equals 24 hours starting from the vehicle pickup time indicated in the reservation.

Our business hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Outside these hours, handovers are self-service at no extra cost: we leave you the car, the keys and instructions.

You can pay in cash, in Argentine pesos or foreign currency (US dollars and other currencies, at the blue exchange rate); by credit or debit card, including online payment with Stripe; with Mercado Pago, Prex or Pix (Brazil); by bank transfer from Argentina, Chile, the USA (ACH) or internationally via SWIFT; and with cryptocurrencies: USDT, USDC or Bitcoin.

Ask about other digital wallets: we aim to make payment as easy and convenient as possible for you. For the security deposit you need a credit card in your name.

Yes! We can deliver the car wherever you prefer and also pick it up at the location of your choice, adapting to your schedule and needs.

Of course! You can rent a vehicle to travel outside Mendoza and even outside the country.

We only need you to inform us of your itinerary in advance so we can authorize the trip or issue the necessary documentation.

All our vehicles are insured: if the car is damaged, you never pay more than the security deposit amount.

You can also upgrade your coverage for ARS 20,000 per day, which lowers the deductible and the security deposit from ARS 600,000 to ARS 400,000. For the Chevrolet Spin and VW Amarok, it goes from ARS 800,000 to ARS 600,000.

The upgrade is optional but gives you extra peace of mind during your rental.

Yes! You can add as many additional drivers as you need at no extra cost and with no limit.

(Most rental agencies charge extra for this, but at MDZ it’s included.)

Fuel is the customer’s responsibility.

We deliver the vehicle with a specific fuel level, and it must be returned with the same amount.

At pickup, we review the vehicle together: interior, exterior, dashboard, mileage, and fuel level (it must be returned with the same level).

You may take photos or record videos during the process, but they are only valid if taken in the presence of our staff.

If the violation is the driver’s responsibility (for example: speeding, illegal parking, etc.), the payment is the renter’s responsibility.

If the issue is due to an error on our part (for example: missing fire extinguisher, documentation, or valid insurance), we will take responsibility.

If we find a forgotten item, we will notify you and store it for 30 days so you can pick it up or send someone to retrieve it.
