Where do you pick up the car?
At El Plumerillo Airport
We meet you in the arrivals hall with your car ready. Airport delivery and return have an extra charge, the same at any time of day. If your flight lands outside our office hours, we leave the car in the airport car park at 8 pm and you just pay the parking fee. For very early returns, you leave the car in the car park with the keys as we instruct, at no extra cost.
At your hotel
We drop off and collect the car wherever you are staying in Mendoza, with a fee based on distance.
At our office
Martín Zapata 355, downtown Mendoza. Office hours 9 am to 8 pm. Outside these hours, handovers are self-service at no extra cost: we leave you the car, the keys and instructions.
Requirements
- Be 18 or older.
- Valid driver's licence (foreign licences accepted) and ID or passport.
- Credit card in the main driver's name for the security deposit (foreign cards accepted).
- Additional drivers are free and must meet the same requirements as the main driver.
Security deposit and insurance
When you pick up the car we place a hold on your credit card (it is not a charge): ARS 600,000, or ARS 800,000 for the Chevrolet Spin and VW Amarok. It is released 48 hours after you return the car. All cars are insured: if the car is damaged, you never pay more than the deposit amount.
Drive to Chile
You can cross into Chile with any car in our fleet except the Renault Kwid. Give us 48 hours' notice so we can arrange the permit; the crossing costs the equivalent of 1 rental day.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pick up the car late at night?
Yes. Outside 9 am to 8 pm, handovers are self-service at no extra cost. At the airport we leave the car in the car park at 8 pm and you just pay the parking fee when you collect it.
How much is the deposit and when is it released?
It is ARS 600,000 (ARS 800,000 for the Chevrolet Spin and VW Amarok), held on your credit card and released 48 hours after you return the car.
Can I add another driver?
Yes. You can add as many additional drivers as you need, free of charge. Each one must meet the same requirements as the main driver.
Can I rent with a foreign licence and credit card?
Yes. We accept foreign driver's licences and credit cards.
What if I have a breakdown on the road?
You have 24-hour towing and mechanical assistance throughout your rental.
